CII in partnership with Rockwell Automation, organises Training Programmes on Industry 4.0. The key objective of this initiative
is to sensitize industry professionals around advanced technologies for adoption of smart, sustainable, and digital
manufacturing practices.
The programme is designed with learning modules that will be delivered through a mix of immersive sessions across multiple
settings, such as - classroom; technology experience centre; industrial site & research lab visits.
A virtual walkthrough of Rockwell Automation’s Smart Factory in Singapore is also featured in the program. More than 100
participants trained in this programme.

6 th Batch: 6-7 November 2025
The sixth edition equipped senior industry leaders with a strategic understanding of Artificial Intelligence, its practical applications,
and its role in enhancing manufacturing competitiveness.
Through expert sessions, virtual tours, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions,
participants gained valuable insights into AI adoption, implementation challenges, and roadmap development. The programme also included a plant visit
to Bimbo Bakeries India Pvt Ltd, Alwar, Rajasthan, where participants observed real-world use cases of AI in manufacturing.
5 th Batch: 18-19 September 2025
CII organised the Fifth Edition of its Training Programme on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Manufacturing in September 2025.
The training witnessed active participation from leading companies such as DCM Shriram, Eureka Forbes, Avaada Energy, Wheels India, Brakes India, AWL Agri Business, and several others.
The wide spectrum of participants—from engineering and production heads to digital transformation leads—reflected the growing interest and need for AI adoption in Indian manufacturing.
During the programme, participants had the opportunity to visit Addverb Technologies, a pioneer in robotics and automation, where they experienced how AI and advanced automation are transforming modern manufacturing.
Participants also visited the Foundation for Smart Manufacturing (FSM), IIT Delhi, where they explored pioneering research and breakthrough innovations shaping the future of smart manufacturing.
4 th Batch: 21-22 August 2025
The fourth batch of the training programme saw participation from leading organisations including Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd, L& T Heavy Engineering Ltd, Godrej Agrovet Ltd, TVS Motor Company Ltd, Jindal Stainless Ltd, Minda Corporation Ltd, Tynor Orthotics Pvt Ltd, and several others.
As part of the programme, participants visited the Mother Dairy Plant in New Delhi to observe the application of AI and advanced automation within the operational environment.
3 rd Batch: 24-25 July 2025
The third batch was conducted on 24–25 July 2025 in Delhi NCR. Designed for industry professionals, the programme focused on the strategic adoption of Artificial Intelligence in manufacturing through expert presentations, virtual tours, live demonstrations, and interactive discussions. A key highlight was the industry visit to the Maruti Suzuki plant, offering participants a first-hand view of AI applications on the shopfloor. The programme provided valuable insights and practical tools to help participants build and implement AI roadmaps in their organisations.
2 nd Batch: 12-13 June 2025
The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) conducted the Second Edition of the Two-Day Training Programme on AI in Manufacturing on 12–13 June 2025 in Delhi NCR. The programme was designed to provide senior industry leaders with a strategic perspective on Artificial Intelligence, its real-world industrial applications, and its potential to strengthen manufacturing competitiveness.
The agenda featured expert-led sessions, virtual tours, live demonstrations, and interactive deliberations, enabling participants to gain practical insights into AI adoption strategies, implementation challenges, and the development of structured AI roadmaps.
The programme saw participation from leading organizations including Kirloskar Pneumatic Co Ltd, DCM Shriram Ltd, BTL EPC Ltd, Crystal Crop Protection Ltd, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Minda Corporation Ltd, Ramkrishna Forgings Ltd, among others.
In addition, participants undertook a plant visit to the Tata Steel Plant, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, where they observed practical AI use cases integrated within an operational manufacturing environment.

The diverse mix of participants from engineering and production heads to digital transformation leads reflected the growing interest and need for AI adoption in Indian manufacturing. As part of the programme, participants visited Addverb Technologies, a leading robotics and automation solutions provider, to witness firsthand the use of AI and advanced automation in modern manufacturing.
Additionally, a curated academic visit to the Foundation for Smart Manufacturing (FSM), IIT Delhi was organized to showcase cutting-edge research and innovation in smart manufacturing.
